Growing up in a family of artists and musicians, it is no surprise that Ronnie Williams would eventually develop the passion to follow. As a self taught musician playing several instruments, he has performed multiple roles in numerous projects throughout the years.
Ronnie’s early experiences in the music industry have earned him the opportunity to perform at the “Grand Ole Opry”, play bass with Big Machine Records President “Jimmy Harnen”, and split the bill with several acclaimed National Recording Artists such as Def Leppard, Hootie and the Blowfish, Little River Band, Bret Michaels, Firehouse, Mike Tramp, and Foghat just to name a few.
From 2007 -2009 Ronnie spent the majority of his time touring with “Rise Phoenix Rise”, performing over 230 shows in 16 months throughout the United States including the “Van’s Warped Tour”, 2008’s MTV Spring Break at the infamous “Club LaVela” in Panama City Beach Florida and stealing a spot on the Active Rock Charts “Top 100” with their debut single “Walk Away.
In 2010 Ronnie released his debut Solo EP entitled “For What It’s Worth” in which he wrote, recorded, and released in less than 3 months. To celebrate it’s success, he was given the opportunity to share the stage with “Grand Funk Railroads” own “Mark Farner”.
In 2013 Ronnie spent some time traveling with country artist “Joe Bachman” before laying low in Key West after performing on a 3 day cruise with platinum record selling artists such as “Sister Hazel”, “Joshua Kadison”, and “Rusted Root”.
From 2015 until the present, Ronnie continues to write, record, and produce for other artists as well as himself. With much of his time being devoted to co-running a record company with lifelong friend and colleague John Young, his ambitions are as strong now as they have ever been. His years of experience have given him the resources necessary to assist him in mentoring other artists and helping them take their careers from idea to industry.
